Andy Garriola

Andy Garriola grew up in Sierra Madre, CA, and started training with Coach Al at age 9. After a stellar performance at Old Dominion University, where he hit 25 home runs in 2022, earning All-American honors, Andy was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 17th round. His powerful hitting and strategic insights are invaluable to our players at Legends Baseball Academy.

Brock Vradenburg

Miami Marlins

Brock Vradenburg was celebrated for his .400 batting average during his junior year at Michigan State University. He attended Maranatha High School, where he played under Coach Al in 2020. A 2023 third-round pick by the Miami Marlins, Brock's hitting ability should get him to the big leagues soon.

Dawson Netz

Arizona Wildcats

Dawson Netz, also from Sierra Madre, CA, led Maranatha High School to a CIF championship in 2018. A 2019 PG All-American, Dawson continues to play at a top collegiate level, where his veteran leadership has helped the Wildcats win the PAC-12 2024 Baseball Championship.

Netz

Arizona Wildcats

Devyn Netz, a star pitcher and designated hitter for the Arizona Wildcats, hails from Sierra Madre, CA. After earning All-Pac-12 honors in 2023, Devyn's dual expertise in pitching and hitting is a valuable part of one of the most historic softball programs in the country.

Petey Halpin

Cleveland Guardians

Petey Halpin moved to Hermosa Beach, CA, for his senior year. He became a standout player at Mira Costa High School and a 15U USA national team member. Drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the third round of the 2020 MLB Draft, Petey's rapid ascent through the minor leagues and invitation to the 2024 Cleveland Guardians Major League Spring Training.

Kevin Parada

New York Mets

Kevin Parada, from Pasadena, CA, began his baseball journey under Coach Al at the age of 10. A 2020 Perfect Game All-American from Loyola High School, Kevin shattered records at Georgia Tech, becoming a first-team All-American and setting the home run record in 2022. Drafted 11th overall by the New York Mets, Kevin brings his advanced hitting ability, making him one of the top prospects in all of baseball.

Will Gasparino

University of Texas

Will Gasparino, born in Los Angeles and a Harvard-Westlake High School alumnus, is recognized as a 2023 PG All-American. Currently excelling as the starting centerfielder at the University of Texas, Will's deep-rooted passion for baseball is inherited from his father, Billy Gasparino, a former professional player, and the current scouting director for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Billy Gasparino drafted Al Quintana in the 2005 draft.

Alex
Cornwell

St. Louis Cardinals

Alex Cornwell, born and raised in La Cañada, attended Maranatha High School, where he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs. He then attended USC, joining the weekend rotation as a starting pitcher. In the 15th round, Alex was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals. He has since advanced through the minor league ranks and plays for the AAA Memphis Redbirds. In 2023, Alex achieved a 2.87 ERA and holds a career win-loss record of 17-6.
